The Gwent Baptist Association, part of the Baptist Union of Wales, provides fellowship, encouragement, opportunity for ministry and an avenue of partnership among Baptist churches in our area. It does this through giving prayerful, practical and financial support, training, advice and other resources for churches and leaders. Our focus is upon helping the churches to reach out to those in their communities who do not know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour.
The Gwent Baptist Association is made up by a collection of nominated officers from churches within the Gwent Baptist family. This includes a team of superintendents; these individuals are the contact point for each church within the association.
